The wives of expatriates who spend several years in Singapore may have a list of restaurants they want to visit.
This may be on one of those lists.
TWG Tea Garden At Marina Bay Sands
In the usual year, this is a place that is always crowded with tourists so we have never been here before. I made a reservation for lunch because I thought it was a good time now that there are no tourists at Marina Bay Sands.
TWG is a very famous tea restaurant in Singapore, but it’s probably one of the shops that people living in Singapore do not come to very often. A friend leaving Singapore next month was delighted to finally be here.
Lunch set menu is surprisingly affordable (the cost of living are high in Singapore…).
*Main course + Tea $32
*Main course + Tea + Dessert $38
I chose the cod which was Mediterranean style.
And my friends chose meatballs, both of which had a tea scent and were very delicious.
We choose desserts from the trolley. Everything looked very good, I could not make up my mind for a while.
There were also Moon cakes in Mid-Autumn Festivel season.
‘Singapore surprise’ is a creme brulee cake with berries, it melted in my mouth. I love it.
Many friends are leaving Singapore this year. The list of restaurants I want to visit in Singapore is filled with the “Done” mark.
